Il sentiero conduce lungo la colata dell\u2019ultima grande eruzione avvenuta qui sull\u2019isola nel 700AC. L\u2019intero terreno \u00e8 fatto di ossidiana, una pietra lavica nera e luccicante come il vetro. Si continua attraversando il cratere del Monte Pelato con tipica vegetazione mediterranea. Infine raggiungiamo le attuali cave di pomice in un ambiente davvero impressionante. Barca per Stromboli per la volta delle colate laviche del vulcano pi\u00f9 attivo delle isole. Si gira tutto attorno all\u2019isola e le fermate diurne sono Punta Lena e Ginostra per poter ammirare le colate di giorno, poi si consuma una cena leggera e si va alla scoperta delle colate in Qui cresce la Malvasia famosa che poi degusteremo in giornata. Si sale sulla vetta pi\u00f9 alta di Salina, sempre in serpentine e sempre coperti dall\u2019ombra di boschi sempreverdi. Saliamo sulla cima del vulcano, poi scendiamo a Lentia e alle sorgenti naturali vicine al mare.
