Si cammina lungo il fiume e poi si continua verso Castiglione di Sicilia, un paese medievale, una fortezza dei Normanni che qui hanno eretto il castello del Leone nel 12\u00b0 secolo, in alto sopra il paese, dominando anche la valle sottostante.
